The Greene County Treasurer's office primarily works with other county offices, providing centralized cash management services for all county funds.

The Greene County Treasurer is primarily responsible for:

• Distribution of payments as the final signatory
• Management of banking activities, services, and reconciliations
• Cash flow analysis
• Investment of cash not immediately needed for current operations
• Receipting and recording of county revenues
• Compiling financial reports as needed by other county offices
• Keeping individual county funds separate

The Greene County Treasurer manages over 30 funds including:

• 911
• Road and Bridge
• Senior Services
• Law Enforcement Sales Tax
• Domestic Violence Shelter
• Sheriff's DARE Program
• Election Services
