The Greene County Sheriff's Office employs 621 personnel who work in various areas of Law Enforcement and administrative support staff. We offer positions for both Commissioned Deputies and non-Commissioned Civilian areas to include the Greene County Jail, Records Division and other support staff.

What will cause me to be disqualified from the hiring process?
- False statement, deception
- Not being a US citizen
- Felonies: Any felony conviction
- Protection orders: You may not be the respondent to any active orders of protection
- DWI: You cannot have a DWI within the past 3 years
- No valid driver’s license
- Currently on probation or parole
- Marijuana use within the last 6 months
- Illicit drug use in the last 36 months
- No high school diploma or GED
- Conviction of any class A or B misdemeanor in the last 3 years
